This Privacy Policy explains how Bulldog Fantasy (PTY) LTD ("Bulldog Fantasy", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses and protects your personal information when you use the Bulldog Fantasy app and website (the "Service"). We are based in Cape Town, South Africa, and handle your information in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA).
By using Bulldog Fantasy, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.
Who we are
Bulldog Fantasy is a free-to-play fantasy football game. The Service is operated by Bulldog Fantasy (PTY) LTD, based in Cape Town, South Africa. If you have any privacy questions or requests, contact us at info@bulldogfantasy.co.za.
What we collect
We only collect what we need to run the game:
- Account information — the email address, username and password you provide when you sign up.
- Gameplay information — the teams you pick, your transfers, your scores, the leagues you join and how you rank.
- Device and usage information — basic technical data such as your device type, app version, general location (country/region), and how you interact with the Service, collected automatically to keep the app working and improve it.
- Communications — any messages you send us, for example support requests.
We do not ask for or store payment card details, because Bulldog Fantasy is free to play.
How we use your information
- To create and manage your account.
- To run the game — scoring, leaderboards, leagues and transfers.
- To keep the Service secure and fix problems.
- To understand how people use the app so we can improve it.
- To contact you about your account or important changes to the Service.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We only share it with:
- Service providers who help us run Bulldog Fantasy (for example hosting, live match data and analytics), and only for that purpose.
- Other players, but only your public profile details such as your username, team name and ranking — never your email address or password.
- Authorities, if we're legally required to do so.
How long we keep it
We keep your information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete or anonymise your personal information within a reasonable period, unless we're required to keep some of it by law.
Your rights
Under POPIA you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, and object to certain uses. You can exercise any of these by emailing info@bulldogfantasy.co.za. You can also delete your account at any time from Settings, on any platform.
Children
Bulldog Fantasy is intended for players aged 13 and over. If you are under 18, you should only use the Service with the permission of a parent or guardian. If we learn that we've collected information from a child without the required consent, we'll delete it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect your information. No online service can be completely secure, but we work to keep your data safe and to deal quickly with any issues.
Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we'll change the "Last updated" date above, and where the changes are significant we'll let you know in the app.
